Guidelines for container use from Lindum
If you use the container to hold mixed waste, there are some fractions that cannot be thrown in the container. If any of the following is discovered in the container, an additional charge will be incurred:
Dangerous waste
Ex. gas containers, propane cans, paint, varnish, glue, oil, spray cans, batteries and solvents.
Roofing felt
Allowed only if tested and PAH-free, or documented to be newer than 1985 (Shingles OK)
Pressure-treated wood
Wood with green tint used for terraces, fences, etc.
Electrical items
Anything powered by electricity, via plug or battery
Food waste
Must be delivered in designated containers/bins
Batteries
All types of batteries
Floor coverings / insulation
Includes vinyl, carpet, foam, etc
Tires (with or without rims)
Asbestos / fiber cement
Windows
Plastic (all types)
Colored garbage bags
Gypsum
If the container is ordered to be used for a clean fraction (e.g. concrete or garden waste), it must only be used for this.
From January 1, 2025, new rules apply that cardboard/paper, textiles and glass and metal packaging must be sorted at source.
When emptying, the waste is checked by our reception manager. Deviations mean that we have to come in with crew/machines to sort this out, and deviations will therefore result in a deviation fee for the customer. The government requirements for waste management are numerous and strict, which is important to save the environment and people. Here you can see our deviation prices (prices stated excluding VAT):
Deviation, small: 286,-
Deviation, medium: 943,-
Deviation, large: 2 827,-
Deviation, battery: 9 881,-
Reclassification fee: 932,-
Inspection fee: 640,-
Colored garbage bags: 158,-
Thanks for helping us out with this!
Please contact us if you need to dispose of any of the above-mentioned fractions, or have questions about our deviation rates.
